Who
Are We?
The cjstudents.com
website was created by Kenneth Mentor, a faculty member in the Sociology and Criminal Justice department at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The site was created as
a tool for those interested in learning about
criminal justice, criminology, and social justice. We are happy to report that the site receives thousands
of visits each month and we hope these visitors benefit
from their time at the site. The
internet contains a range of materials that are freely
provided and/or in the public domain. This information,
once identified and logically organized, can be used
in a range of courses. When used in this way several
sections of this site may be suitable replacements for "readers" or
other secondary reading materials used in classes.
